I’ve seen several posts online, and read a lot out there, about this Indirect High Heat Cooking style; but there are Several options, from various retail sources, which makes it easy to get lost in the hype and marketing? Most were American Sourced items/or from over-sea’s online retailers, and with the US/CA Exchange Rate, add the Shipping costs? A $40 item, with $50 shipping? (before Exchange and Possible Taxes, Duties and Tariffs) just wasn’t worth the”risk” of not knowing what exactly your getting?
Then I came across the “Afterburner” sold via Dickson BBQ Centre in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area). (https://dicksonbbq.com). Being Canadian Sourced and Sold, it was an easy choice to try this one out.
As with All Canadian BBQ Retailers (Although, there’s not that many up here locally), They were Friendly, Helpful and efficient.
As for this Review Page? … I was just going to add a new section to the “Other Tools & Utilities Summary” page, but then thought; No this needs a page of it’s own. I’ll be adding the Cooking Projects done it here, so they’re easy to see and judge for yourself… and we can see if the item lives up to the cook style hype or not?
(Note; This product was purchased at full retail, so no obligation on my behalf for a biased assessment)
